Photo of the month (December 2008)

Title: In Safe Hands
Location: Malawati Hill, Kuala Selangor, Malaysia
Date: 20 December 2008, 11.23am
Camera: Nikon D60 with Aperture: f/5.6, ISO Equiv.: 800

This photo was taken during my recent trip to Malawati Hill, Kuala Selangor. It was a difficult shot but I LOVE the outcome. Taking photos of silver leaf's young infant is not an easy task. Like humans, these babies are always craving for attention, crying for milk and moving all over the place. I approached this adult female discreetly - to have a really close-up shot. I was squatting when I took this shot. Initially, the baby was not even facing the camera lens. I guess patient is very important. I waited, waited and waited until the photo opportunity is there. I snapped sequence of pictures of this infant and all of them turn out to be some really nice pictures.
