A kitchen grill with holes.

I was browsing the net when my eyes were pierced by strong and intense sunlight from the window. WOW! The morning ray was damn powerful!!! It was so bright and burning hot. Got to take out my Nikon D60 camera to snap some photos.

I was trying hard searching for decent stuff to capture in the garden. Unfortunately, it's the same old plant here and there. So, I decided to try something new today. I took a plastic basket and hold it close to an open wall that is exposed to the sky. An SUPERB 3D shadow was formed once the light falls on the opaque object.

I tried out many different angles and used a kitchen grill, a drinking glass and a plastic bottle. I have to say I'm quite happy with the outcome. Got something new and exciting to put into my blog today - I call it 'Playing with Shadow and Light'. My mom not too happy - looking at me with puzzled emotion while she was cleaning up the morning dishes.

Holding a decade old glass. Simple but NICE!

  9. @ Sharon Y. & Roke,

Thank you for those wonderful comments!! To be honest - I did not expect those shadow and light photos turn out like that. It was a spontaneous jolt to play with those ideas.

I'll be traveling again!!! this time to the historical city of Melaka tommorow (Monday) on a 2D 1N trip!! Hope to capture those World Heritage Sites, people, culture and food over there. So, remember to visit my blog again this Wednesday night for more updates!! Gosh, I'm too excited with the trip!!!!!

I'm gonna visit all places of interest in Malaysia before I travel to Asean countries :)

    Cheers!
