Title: Meeting My Long Lost Cousin :)
Location: Malawati Hill (Bukit Malawati), Selangor, Malaysia
Date: 12th October 2009, 1:37pm
Camera: Nikon D60 with Aperture: f/5.6, ISO Equiv.: 100

This is my monthly photo for October 2009. I was reaching for this adult silver leaf monkey. Surprisingly, the monkey 'accepted' me with open hands. I quickly grabbed my Nikon D60 camera and capture this precious moment. The monkey stared at me intensely. I pressed the camera button to immortalize the close encounter. Humans and apes - the similarities can be seen throughout our bodies :)

  8. xplorer,

I read a lot about Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary in Pahang. Seems like a great place. Foreign tourists LOVE the wonderful experience in Kuala Gandah! Definitely my next destination :)

    londoncaller,

'Cousin' will be MAD at me if the nails are trim! Those nails are needed by my 'cousins' to search for lice and bugs :)

    Roger,

It's strange. I LOVE monkeys. The close resemblance with humans is definitely amazing. Got to capture them.

    Cheers!
