Title: The Incredible Hulk???
Location: Batu Caves, Selangor, Malaysia
Date: 27th January 2010 (Wednesday), 9:42am
Camera: Nikon D60 with Aperture: f/9.0, ISO Equiv.: 100

This pair of gigantic feet belongs to Lord Hanuman - Hindu Monkey God (sa:हनुमान्, IAST:Hanumān; also Anjaneya, Maruti) . It was captured in Batu Caves, Selangor during the recent pre-Thaipusam festival. I regretted not attending the actual celebration. It was touted as the BEST Thaipusam event in years!

Nevertheless, I'm really happy that I managed to snap the above picture. This is my top favorite picture. The sky was amazing. To get this composition, I need to find a nice location. There is a newly built temple next to this gigantic statue. The temple have raised stairways. So, I climbed up a few steps and keep on focusing my camera until I got this beautiful 'frame' of Lord Murugan's feet.

The Statue is really colorful! The body parts are mostly green in color. I really LOVE the natural black shadow on the feet + surreal muscular legs. You might ask "How does Lord Hanuman looks like?" Click here and see The Colors of Thaipusam.

Ha ha... It's true! I miss those fanciful backgrounds for Chinese opera.

Avatar first premiered early December last year, I saw people queueing to watch it at Leicester Square. I might go to IMax to watch it lah! Better than 3D?
