This bird of paradise plant is simply amazing - it can survive under extreme hot and humid condition with little care only.

A yellow and pink flower. Love those green stain at the edge of the petals.
It's been a dull week for my photography outing. Have some rather boring work assignments at Lake Garden on Saturday - so my half day gone. I'll be searching for some great hidden places this coming weekend. This morning I decided to revisit my mom's garden to check out her precious collection of green herbs, onion leaves and some tropical plants. Snap some pictures and decided to put in here.
Hey I saw an ant....on the leaf! Love the colours!
The flower is so pretty. I like the transparent look of the leaf, just like that shot from Bkt Nanas. Very interesting
@RunWitMe,
Actually it's a small itsy bitsy spider. Thanks for the compliment!
@Sharon Y.,
Thank you again for checking out my photo blog!!! Lots of heliconia/bird of paradise plants in my mom's house.
Cheers!
