I'm mad over Silver Leaf Monkeys....AGAIN! It's all about falling madly in love with these spiky haired primates. So, I traveled back to Malawati Hill (my third trip). It was an AWESOME adventure. I wish I can smuggle one of them back to my house :) Three words to summarize these hairy friends: INTELLIGENT & ALMOST HUMAN.
I'll let the pictures do the talking :) Remember to catch Part 2 for more exclusive shots. Interested to read my previous encounters with silver leaf monkeys? Click these keywords: SILVER LEAF MONKEYS.
Your pictures are very nice, even though I don't really like monkeys. I don't dislike them either though.
wow... awesome shots!!!! i wanna get a better lens~~~ hihihihi
aww.. cute monkeyss....
they can do so many emotions =p
is there anything else nice around there?
Hi Mylo, nice closeups of the Silver Leaf. You seem to go there a lot too :) A favourite place?
Regards,
David
mylo , what your travel plan for 2010?
Shelyn
Thanks! Not all monkeys are 'BAD' I LOVE silver leaf monkeys and orang utan. I avoid cynomolgus macaque at all costs - these monkeys are fierce and aggressive. I was nearly attacked by an alpha male cynomolgus in Malaysia Agriculture Park.

I'm still using my basic D60 kit...no special lens. I got really up close and personal to get these shots. Really close.....

These monkeys are CUTE! You'll LOVE them :)
You can visit the white colored light house, a few museums, poisoned well, an amazing view of Kuala Selangor fishing village and many more. Also, you can spend three hours exploring Kuala Selangor Nature Park at the bottom of the hill. A great place for nature lovers and bird watchers. Thousands of crabs and mudskippers!!
Roger
Indeed! I simply LOVE the up, close and personal experience over there.

Hmmmmm......India, China, Lhasa.....finger crossed :)
Cheers to all!

It's so handy to have a good lens!
Good photos!
1ondoncaller,
I wish to have better lens :) Currently, I'm still using my humble D60 kit...nothing else.
Thanks...it as some up close and personal shots. Robert Capa once said, "If your pictures aren't good enough, you're not close enough.” Capa wasn't advocating the use of longer lenses :)
Cheers!
