The Annual Floral and Garden Show at KL, Malaysia (A collection of wonderful green maze and tons of orchids)

This is Part 2 of my trip to Kuala Lumpur Floral Festival 2008. By afternoon, I captured over 1 000 ++ pictures. The best photo collection on that day will be my green maze edition.

When I first published those pictures at photo forums, lots of people assumed I made some sort of photoshop modification to my photo. Well, to be honest...those photos were taken and uploaded without any editing (only resize). I am VERY HAPPY with my green maze photos because it has strong contrast of green and black colours. It was a lucky day for me because I noticed a few large pots of green plants under intense sunlight. I move closer and discovered the light is strong enough to penetrate the leaves...thus creating a vibrant mixture of green and black colours.

It was not an easy task taking those photos. I need to position my camera at different angles to get the best outcome. Well, passer-by were perplexed...looking at a strange photographer getting so close to the plant.

Beside those green maze collection, I am also VERY PROUD of my orchids photo collection. There were too many orchids being exhibit during the floral fest...LOTS OF THEM! I think at least 1,000 ++ orchids on display and sale. Well, I am not really an orchid enthusiast...so I am not able to name those orchids plants in the following photos.

Here is my photo collection:

Picture 1 - Mylo's Green Maze Collection...no digital alteration on these photos. These photos were taken when intense sunlight falls on the piece of leaf - thus creating a vibrant green and black contrast.
