Location: Precinct 2 - Putrajaya, Selangor, Malaysia
Date: 19th March 2010 (Friday), 8:07 a.m.
Camera: Nikon D60 with Aperture: f/6.3, ISO Equiv.: 100

This picture was taken during the recent Putrajaya 2nd International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta 2010 (Day 2).

Four things I LIKE about this picture:

  1. Japanese serious looking pilot reaching out for the propane valves
  2. Young eager passenger looking down
  3. Burst of flame from the burner
  4. My favorite Kodomo Lion hot air ballon (background)

It's kind of strange. Whenever I look at this picture, it reminds me of Michael Bublé singing HOME.

  4. Ha ha... You can tell she's Japanese because she covered her arms to prevent sun tan!

I'm in Holland now. Will comment further when I get back to London.

  8. I love this song although I can't read well while the music is on.
I read and write without music although I am a music lover~~ I really wish I can do both at the same time :) I have to trun off the volum while I read and type, and then turn the music back on to enjoy the song!

London 2012? Not sure I'll still be here by then. Wanna see Japan while I still can.

Kamu boleh cuba daging rusa di Malaysia juga.
    Rasanya macam burung unta.

  14. Hi Mylo,

    1ondoncaller & fufu,

Very few ladies in Malaysia cover their arms. Unless those working under the hot sun (e.g. farmers and sweepers).

    WOW! 1ondoncaller traveling again?

Thanks for your helpful comments :) I've decided to stop autoplay from the player.

Welcome back!!! I've stopped blogging for awhile. Not traveling much.

    Cheers to all!
